Sunspot on the Horizon

Spaceweather.com reports that NASA's STEREO identified on Sept. 19th a possible sunspot group over the sun's eastern limb.

It is not yet Earth-facing, but could be as early as Sept. 21st.   The possible group is located at latitude 30-deg south, making it a probable member of Solar Cycle 24
